Jack enjoyed our neighbor, Rachel, pushing him on our hand-me-down swing set. Never mind the seatbelt flapping in the breeze...

Jack at the Park
I took Jack to the park today, where a young fellow named Kelvin commandeered Jack's little car. While waiting for Kelvin and his sister to finish pushing each other around the park in the car, Jack enjoyed playing in the mulch.
It was all fun and games until Jack picked a cigarette butt up off of the ground.

Getting Ready for the Streets
Jack's preparing his ride for a quick cruise around the neighborhood. He wants it to look his best while he's zipping around the block.

Mommy Come Home!
The Perfect Lipstick
Jack enjoys taking his parents things, and putting them in odd places. The other day, I found my BlackBerry inside of Jack's Race Day Ride-on toy, the poultry seasoning from our spice cabinet in the back of his wagon, and my work badge in a dark corner of our den.
In this video, Jack prepares to place Patty's lipstick in a baby wipe container. Now where the heck are my ninja throwing stars?

'Dining' at the Diner
The last time Jack and I went to the diner, we sat in a sweet corner booth that Jack cruised between bites of sausage and biscuits, and I was astounded at how much he consumed. This time, he still enjoyed sitting by the window, and climbing on the booths, but didn't eat anything whatsoever. I cannot waste food, so I ate all of my meal, as well as the food I got for Jack. If Jack keeps this up, I'm going to have to start buying my clothes in the 'husky' section.
First Taste of Lebanon Baloney
As a proud son on Pennsylvania, I can proudly announce that Jack enjoys one of the finest smoked meats produced in the world. Next stop, ring baloney!
Intensity in the Bathroom
Jack's grown weary of his toys, and has moved on to products commonly found in the bathroom.

Happy Mother's Day!
Cleaning!
Please let Jack's current interest in cleaning transform into a lifelong habit. Pretty, pretty please??
Jack's Whip
Jack's Special Lady
Jack really loves all of his teachers at daycare. But one has a particularly special place in his heart: Miss Emily. Each day, Jack is one of the first kids to arrive at school, so he always gets extra hugs from Miss Emily. And some days, she says, he never lets her go. They have a really sweet bond. She even bought him a new outfit for his birthday.
Hilariously, she also loves to give Peter a hard time when he drops off Jack -- that his pants are too small, that he doesn't have enough wipes, that he needs a heavier coat, etc., etc. She is not afraid to share her opinion; her fellow teachers call her "Madea." (Since I have never seen a Tyler Perry movie, I can only assume this is because Miss Emily is pretty sassy.)
I must admit; its hard not to feel a little jealous about the time Miss Emily spends with Jack during the week. But we're glad he's so loved.
