Sharing the Love

This video demonstrates Jack's love for (or at least tolerance of) Maggie.  He couldn't be more sweet with her and wants to hold her as soon as he gets home from school.  We don't think he's intentionally trying to share his daycare germs, but can't be sure.

Jack meets Maggie!

He was quite skeptical at first.

He tried to escape.

He eventually allowed us to take the obligatory new sibling kiss shot.

Finally, he felt more comfortable and began passing gas and jumping up and down on the bed.

Maggie's sleeping a lot and is super sweet. Our pediatrician checked her out this morning and everything looks great.

Patty is recovering well and loves holding her little girl.

Jack has no idea what's coming.

Peter asked the nurse why 'circumcision' was crossed out on the baby checklist on the nurse's wipe board, so he's obviously out of it.

Mom is resting after an intense delivery, but everyone is healthy!

Happy Birthday Jack!

Jack's two. Time has flown by, and we are so proud of our sweet boy. He's growing so fast and is a little sponge - learning hundreds of words and how to do so many things, all while being incredibly loving with his friends and family. Our family dynamic is about to change, with a little girl on the way by Tuesday (at the latest), and Jack will have to share his parents with a sibling. We love being a family of three, but know being a family of four will be even better!

Jack loves his Aunt Margie. She came over last weekend and we walked to the stream, where Jack threw several dozen rocks into the water.

Fun at Bunnyland

Jack had fun at Butler's Orchard the day before Easter. We went on a hayride, slid down slides, fed goats, had an egg hunt, ate some donuts, played on a wooden train, and overall had a very pleasant morning.

Goodbye, Rick!

For reasons too numerous to mention, Jack is a huge Rick Santorum fan, so he was very disappointed when he dropped out of the Republican primary. Today, we dressed him in a Santorum Sweater vest in honor of Rick the visionary's impactful run during the primary.
