Despite my premonition that Baby Babb would arrive last night, he has not yet made an appearance. I think he is waiting until Monday. So, we spent our last free Saturday shopping at Wegman's (love that place), buying a lamp for our den, putting together our new stroller...
Oh, yeah, and helping our neighbor clean his vomit out of his friend's car.
Have we not mentioned that we live on Fraternity Row?
Living in Arlington is great -- our commute to work is very short, and our house is close to lots of great bars and restaurants. It's a little like living in D.C... only less hip, but with terrific public schools and much less violent crime:-).
However, sometimes, living in Arlington is not-so-great, because it attracts recent college graduates in denial. Including our neighbors.
On any given Saturday night/Sunday morning, on either side of our house, there likely is a beer pong tournament underway (nothing lulls you to sleep quite like thumping bass). Flip cup anyone?
And sometimes, our neighbors puke in their friends' cars, and they need to borrow our hose and a scrub brush.
Are we just getting old?
