As most of you already know, we are expecting Baby #2 in 2012 (April 16 is the due date -- just three days after Jack's second birthday!). It is going to be an exciting -- and exhausting -- New Year. Peter and I are really looking forward to it... Jack, on the other hand, has no idea what's coming (and, we suspect, he might not like it all that much:-).
We found out about a month ago that we are expecting a little girl. Our 2012 hopes for her: 1) that she forces her mother to endure no more than 2 hours of labor/delivery; 2) that she gives her big brother a hard time (but not too hard a time); 3) that she inherits her hair from our extended family members (and isn't cursed with the frizz Peter and I so enjoy); 4) that she sleeps through the night after only 2 weeks; and 5) that she is healthy and happy.
